Important Instruction Regarding Interest Payment Before Account Closure

Dear sir, madam

It is hereby informed that, in respect of accounts such as TD, MIS and SCSS, where the interest due has not been paid through sundry account , the pending interest shall be disbursed to the account holder before initiating the account closure process.

It may be noted that, once the account is closed, the system does not permit payment of the pending interest. Hence, all concerned officials are requested to ensure that the interest due, if any, is duly paid before proceeding with closure of the account.

TD / MIS / SCSS கணக்குகளை Account Closure செய்வதற்கு முன் Interest Payment தொடர்பான வழிமுறைகள்

அனைத்து சம்பந்தப்பட்ட அலுவலர்களின் கவனத்திற்கு,

TD, MIS மற்றும் SCSS போன்ற கணக்குகளில், செலுத்த வேண்டிய Interest Due / Pending Interest இதுவரை Sundry Account மூலம் செலுத்தப்படாமல் இருந்தால், Account Closure செயல்முறையை மேற்கொள்வதற்கு முன்பாக, நிலுவையில் உள்ள வட்டியை உரிய Account Holder-க்கு முறையாகச் செலுத்த வேண்டும்.

⚠️ முக்கிய குறிப்பு:

ஒருமுறை கணக்கு Closed செய்யப்பட்டுவிட்டால், நிலுவையில் உள்ள Interest-ஐ பின்னர் செலுத்துவதற்கு System-ல் provision இல்லை.

எனவே, Interest Due = NIL என்பதை உறுதி செய்த பின்னரே Account Closure மேற்கொள்ளப்பட வேண்டும்.

✅ PRE-CLOSURE CHECKLIST

Account Closure செய்வதற்கு முன் கீழ்கண்ட அனைத்தையும் சரிபார்க்கவும்:

☐ Account Type – TD / MIS / SCSS சரிபார்க்கப்பட்டது.

☐ கணக்கில் Interest Due / Pending Interest ஏதேனும் உள்ளதா என சரிபார்க்கப்பட்டது.

☐ Sundry Account மூலம் செலுத்தப்பட வேண்டிய Interest ஏதேனும் நிலுவையில் உள்ளதா என சரிபார்க்கப்பட்டது.

☐ நிலுவை Interest இருந்தால், Account Closure-க்கு முன் Account Holder-க்கு Interest Payment செய்யப்பட்டது.

☐ Interest Payment தொடர்பான System Entry / Accounting முறையாக மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது.

☐ Interest Due = NIL என உறுதி செய்யப்பட்டது.

☐ மேற்கண்ட அனைத்து சரிபார்ப்புகளும் முடிந்த பின்னரே Account Closure மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது.

🟢 DO’S – செய்ய வேண்டியவை

✔️ Account Closure-க்கு முன் Interest Due-ஐ கட்டாயம் சரிபார்க்கவும்.

✔️ Pending Interest இருந்தால், முதலில் உரிய Interest Payment செய்யவும்.

✔️ Interest Payment செய்த பின்னர் System-ல் update / accounting சரியாக செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதா என உறுதி செய்யவும்.

✔️ Interest Due = NIL என உறுதி செய்த பின்னரே Account Closure செய்யவும்.

🔴 DON’TS – செய்யக்கூடாதவை

❌ Interest Due / Pending Interest இருக்கும் நிலையில் Account Closure செய்யக்கூடாது.

❌ Sundry Account மூலம் செலுத்த வேண்டிய Interest நிலுவையில் இருந்தால், அதனை புறக்கணித்து Account Close செய்யக்கூடாது.

❌ Account Closed செய்யப்பட்ட பின்னர் Pending Interest-ஐ செலுத்தலாம் என கருதி Account Closure செய்யக்கூடாது.
