This is regarding the subject of shortage of manpower in SBCO branches and posting of officials in SBCO branches on tenure basis taken up by the Association/Union in the Four Monthly Meeting held on 27.10.2025.
HO wise posting of officials on tenure basis in SBCO branches is also enclosed for reference and information. In this regard, I am directed to request to issue suitable directions and instructions to Divisions to post suitable officials in PA PO cadre to work in SBCO branches of the HOs on tenure basis as per the instructions contained in modalities of merger communicated by Directorate letter dated 16.11.2022 mentioned in reference. It is also requested to issue instructions to the Divisions that the SBCO branches should never be unmanned.
