Sub: Addition of para in Inspection questionnaire of Post Offices and RMS offices regarding data updation through mobile tool- reg.
This is with reference to the exercise of data updation on the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan (NMP) Portal through mobile app developed by BISAG-N.
2. In this regard, it has been observed that timely updation and accuracy of data are of critical importance, as the same is being reviewed by DPIIT from time to time. Further, as per the prescribed SOP for data management on the PM GatiShakti NMP Portal, all concerned department's are required to ensure that the data uploaded remains current, accurate, and validated.
3. To facilitate real-time updation and improve data accuracy, a mobile application has been developed by BISAG-N for use by field functionaries during inspections. The application is available on the Google Play Store. The procedural flow for carrying out data mapping activity through the mobile during inspection app is as under:

a) Open the DoP Asset Mapping App on the mobile device.
b) Login using the User ID and Password (to be provided by the concerned Circle Office).
c) Navigate through the data layers and select the concerned office being inspected.
d) Choose the 'Edit' option and carry out necessary modifications as required.
e) Capture latitude and longitude and click on the 'Submit' button.
4. In view of the above, it is requested that necessary instructions may kindly be issued to all inspecting authorities, including Mail Overseers, to ensure that data updation is carried out invariably during the course of inspections using the above-mentioned mobile application.
5. Further, the Circle Office may consolidate the details of such updations, including the number and names of offices updated, and share the same with the Parcel Directorate through email on a monthly basis for monitoring and review.
