*One more Historic Victory because of the united efforts of Exam Aspirants and Bharatiya Postal RMS Supervisors Association to restore 25 no of PS Group B da LDC Exam 2020 Quota Vacancies which was notified nil vacancy for the year 2017-18*

Today 28.11.2025 - The Central Administrative Tribunal, Ernakulam Bench, has delivered a landmark judgment striking down the wrongful adjustment of LDCE quota vacancies in Postal Services Group B cadre.

Between 2012 and 2016–17, 102 posts were excessively filled under the DPC quota for ASP cadre officials. In 2017–18, these excess posts were wrongly adjusted against LDCE quota, including 25 posts reserved for examination candidates (19 for Inspector Posts and 6 for Selection Grade Supervisors).

This misadjustment led to a nil vacancy notification for LDCE quota for 2017-18 vacancy in the PS Group B Examination 2020, depriving meritorious aspirants of their rightful promotions.

The matter was challenged, and the Tribunal has now ordered restoration of the LDCE quota, ensuring justice for exam-qualified officials.

Today marks yet another glorious chapter in our collective struggle. The Tribunal’s verdict is not just a correction of injustice—it is a resounding affirmation of our unity, resilience, and determination to uphold fairness in promotions.

Because of this victory, 19 Inspector Posts officials and 6 Selection Grade Supervisors will now ascend to PS Group B promotions for the year 2020. This achievement is a shining example of how the voice of the Exam Candidates, backed by the Association, can move mountains and restore justice.

This triumph belongs to every member who stood firm, every aspirant who believed in merit, and every official who carried the torch of fairness.

Let us celebrate this milestone also with pride and continue our march towards transparency, equality, and dignity for all postal employees.
