Suggestions from one Postal Staff

Dear Colleague,
I’m sharing this message with you with a genuine purpose — it’s not just a casual suggestion, but a small idea that can lead to a meaningful change in our Postal Department.

If this thought reaches our colleagues in other divisions as well, our collective voice may inspire the higher authorities to consider allowing biometric authentication for SB (POSB) transactions at the Branch Office level.

This is not about criticism or complaint —
it’s about making our work simpler, faster, and more transparent.
Because,
if Branch Postmasters (BPMs) are permitted to open accounts and perform transactions through biometric authentication —

🔹 the additional workload on Sub Postmasters (SPMs) will be reduced,

🔹 the speed and quality of services at the rural level will improve, and

🔹 our Department will move further towards being digital and modern.
So here’s a humble request —

please share this thought and motivation with your colleagues in other divisions too.
When such positive ideas spread, they gain momentum — and one day, this idea may turn into real progress.

Let’s all come together and make a small collective effort for the betterment of our Department.

Let’s help build a Postal Department that is more efficient, employee-friendly, and digitally empowered.
