Dear All,

It has been observed that several offices are submitting daily accounts without verifying the BO daily accounts. This practice leads to the incorporation of incorrect data into the Cash Book, which in turn affects the accuracy of the balances.

To address this issue, a new functionality has been introduced at the HO level under the Accounts Verification card in the Accounts Module. This feature allows the reversion of verified daily accounts for both Sub Offices (SOs) and Branch Offices (BOs).

Key Points to Note:

1. Reverting Option Availability:

o The revert option is available for both BOs and SOs.

o The HO must select the respective SO or BO for which the reversion is to be performed.

2. BO Daily Account (DA) Reversion:

o Reversion can be directly performed for the selected BO’s verified data.

o Only the selected BO’s daily account data will be reverted, enabling it to be re-verified.

o The BOs, which are directly under the Head office, should be reverted individually.

3. SO Daily Account (DA) Reversion:

o If an SO is selected for reversion, the system will revert the verified daily accounts of that SO as well as all BOs under it. Then Respective SO should verify all the BO Daily accounts first and then send the revised daily account to Head office.

o Head office in turn has to verify the SO daily account afresh

4. HO Data / Cash Book Reversion:

o Reverting the verification of Cash Book entries that have already been submitted to the PAO is not allowed.

o In such cases, a support ticket must be raised for further action.

This functionality is now live and available for use. All concerned users are requested to make use of this feature as per the above guidelines to maintain data accuracy in the Cash Book.
