No longer mourn, no time to weep.
They sold your dreams, they stole your bread,
Your future now by profits led.
Where are the jobs they swore to give?
"Two crores a year"—was that to live?
False hopes they cast like dust in eyes,
While nation burns with silent cries.
You studied hard with burning will,
Now stand in queues, hopes crushed and still.
From engineers to PhDs high,
Begging for work beneath the sky.
Peon posts see lakhs in line,
MTechs plead while rulers dine.
MBA minds do menial chore—
Is this the dream our martyrs bore?
They privatize, they sell the land,
They shut the doors with unseen hand.
Where factories hummed with strength and steel,
Now silence reigns and wounds won’t heal.
Outsourced are rights, contracted pain,
The labour laws washed down the drain.
No pension, post, nor future shown—
The youth betrayed, the seeds unsown.
Shall we bow down and bear the chain?
Or rise as storms that break the plain?
This land of youth, so vast, so pure,
Must rise to strike and to endure!
Join the strike, be not alone,
Let every street become our own.
Let slogans thunder, fists arise—
To shake the throne, to clear the skies!
Oh students, workers, jobless all,
Heed this hour, the nation’s call.
In every heart let fire ignite—
To march for truth, to stand for right.
Your silence now is power lost,
Your struggle—yes—will bear a cost.
But justice never comes for free,
So rise, O youth, to make us free!
