The Department of Posts is planning to launch a new Insurance Management System (IMS) developed by CEPT to make PLI / RPLI services more digital and customer-friendly.
✨ Major Features
✅ Online Proposal Forms
Customers will be able to fill proposal forms online through Mobile App / Website / Self-Service Portal.
✅ Assisted Mode Facility
Forms can also be submitted with the help of Postal Staff or Direct Agents.
✅ No More Manual Data Entry
Manual form filling and data entry at CPCs will be completely eliminated.
✅ Direct Maturity Payment
Policy maturity amount will be credited directly to the customer’s linked bank account.
✅ Online Purchase of Non-Medical Policies
Customers can buy Non-Medical Policies online using e-KYC verification (subject to CPC approval).
