𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬:

𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬:
 
1. 𝐔𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 are are generally eligible for Family Pension 𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 under various government schemes (like CGHS, ECHS, Railway Health Schemes) as dependants.
 
2. 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 are also considered dependants of a Government employee primarily if they are minor brothers, unmarried sisters, or widowed/divorced/separated sisters (of any age), who are wholly dependent on the employee and usually reside with them, especially when parents are deceased or also dependent, often under schemes like CGHS for healthcare or pension benefits.
 
3. 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 of employees are eligible to receive family pension for life, not just until age 25, if their mental or physical disability prevents them from earning a livelihood, as confirmed by rules under CCS (Pension) & EPS-95, requiring medical certification and income proof (less than minimum family pension) to qualify for this lifelong benefit.
