Post Office Identity Cards ( POID Cards)
Post office Identity Cards (POID cards) are issued by DoP as per clause 63 of PO Guide Part I, with value addition as a Retail Product of India Post
- Application for POID is available in all Post Offices and costs . Rs.20/- . It can also be downloaded from the India Post website.
- Application tendered with processed fee of Rs.250/- will be verified through Postman or other officials and recommend for issue.
- The POID card will be issued within 15 days from the date of receipt of the application form at the HO.
- The validity of the card will be three years from the date of issue.
