Sub: - Non following the guidelines - c/o vacancy calculation in c/w Departmental exams - reg.
As per the DoPT guidelines vacancies which may arose in a colander year (Example for 2025 year vacancies from 1.1.2025 to 31.12.2025) should be taken for count while vacancy calculation for the departmental exams including chain vacancies (including the vacant posts in LSG, HSG case PA/SA cadre) as per the postal manuals.
For a case study my federation placing the 2025 departmental exams/results/vacancies pertaining to AP circle.
- AP circle till date not conducted LS DPC for the year 2025 which could have been done in the month of January or February itself. Approximately as on date there 240 vacancies in LSG cadre and out of it 50% of them should be allotted for LDCE exam.
- LDCE for PA exam conducted and nearly 99 officials (Postmen/MTS) have been promoted and joined/relieved before announcement of Postmen/MTS 2025 exam results.
- MTS to Postman results declared for about 45 officials and GDS to Postman 29 vacancies are there and results yet to be published.
- If those 99 vacancies in Postmen/MTS added for the GDS to Postman/MTS exam 99 GDS officials will be benefited.
Like above, the same situation we noticed in other circles also. Hence my federation requests the authority kindly study the vacancy calculation has been done by the circle before announcement of results.
Hence kindly explore the possibilities for announcement of supplementary results for the left over vacancies in PA/Postman/MTS cadre by publishing supplementary results as per the existing departmental rules on this subject which will help the eligible merit officials.
