Sir/Madam,
A patch related to freezing of accounts has been deployed
dated 25.04.2025 where 43116 accounts (List attached sent to all CO / RO / DO / HO) having balance more than 25
Lakhs and not having PAN or Adhaar details have been frozen.
It is hereby directed that the frozen accounts can be
unfreezed at Head Post Office level where account stands after taking full KYC details and
submission of Adhaar and PAN .
This issues with the approval of competent authority.
