BPMs providing GDS Post Office accommodation which meets the prescribed standards - Rs.500/ -.
BPMs having BOs at non-standard/rent free accommodation- Rs. 250/-
CRITERIA FOR STANDARD ACCOMMODATION
Bo should be in Gram Panchayat/state/central govt building or BPM own house or building owned by NGOs
BO should be in main busy part of the village
• Minimum size of the BO building should not be less than 100 sq. feet preferably in 10’ x 10’
• Post office should have direct access from village road
• Building should be brick mortar structure
• Building should have electrical power and suitable place for installing solar panels
• Accommodation should be exclusively for post office use
