This Privacy Policy explains how SAPOST (https://www.saposts.com, "we", "us", "the site") handles information when you visit our website. By using the site, you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
SAPOST shares Department of Posts orders, circulars, GDS news, pension updates and study materials for postal employees. The site is hosted on Blogger, a service of Google LLC.
Contact: sapost2@gmail.com
2. Information we collect
We do not ask you to register, and we do not sell your personal information.
- Information you choose to share: if you post a comment, your name or Google profile and your comment are shown publicly. If you email us, we receive your email address and message, and use them only to reply.
- Information collected automatically: like most websites, our hosting provider (Google/Blogger) and our advertising partner (Google AdSense) automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and the time of your visit.
- Settings saved on your device: the site remembers your dark/light mode choice in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
3. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Our site and its partners use cookies to:
- keep the site working (for example, for comments and sign-in through Google);
- understand how the site is used; and
- show advertisements (see section 4).
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as commenting, may not work without them.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to show ads, which help keep SAPOST free.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at https://www.aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, https://www.youronlinechoices.eu.
- To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland may see a consent message asking for permission before personalised ads are shown.
5. Comments
Comments are handled by Blogger. When you comment using your Google account, your Google profile name (and picture, if set) appears with your comment. We may moderate or remove comments that are spam, abusive or off-topic. Google's Privacy Policy applies to comments: https://policies.google.com/privacy
6. Links to other websites
Our posts may link to other websites (for example, government websites, Google Drive documents, WhatsApp or Telegram). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites. Please read their privacy policies.
