How to Apply for Jeevan Pramaan Digital Life Certificate Online
Prerequisites & Requirements
- Device: Smartphone or PC with a stable internet connection (Android 9.0+ or iOS 14.0+ for mobile).
- Aadhaar Card: Aadhaar number linked with your active mobile number.
- Pension Details: Pension Sanctioning Authority, Pension Disbursing Agency, Bank Account Number, and PPO Number.
- Biometrics: External biometric device (fingerprint/iris scanner) OR a smartphone with a working front camera for the Face Authentication feature.
Step-by-Step Online Process (Using Mobile Face App)
1. Download Required Apps: Go to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and install the AadhaarFaceRD app along with the official Jeevan Pramaan Face App (alternatively, you can use the integrated UMANG App).

2. Operator Authentication: Open the Jeevan Pramaan app, enter the operator's Aadhaar number, mobile number, and email address. Validate the setup using the OTP received on the mobile phone, then complete the initial face scan.
3. Pensioner Authentication & Certificate Generation: Enter the pensioner’s Aadhaar and mobile number, then verify via a new OTP. Accurately fill in the required pension details (PPO number, bank account, and disbursing agency).
4. Biometric Scanning: Select the Face Authentication option and scan the pensioner's face using the device's front camera. Follow live prompts like blinking eyes during the scan.
5.Download Certificate: Once authentication is successful, the Digital Life Certificate (DLC) is generated. A unique Pramaan ID will be sent to the registered mobile via SMS. You can download the PDF copy anytime from the official portal using this ID.
