For 75 years, the Postal Training Centre, Saharanpur has been shaping the people who power India Post. Established on 2 April 1951, the centre marked India’s transition from informal training to a structured, institutional learning system in the postal network. Spread across 56 acres, it has grown alongside the nation—adapting to emerging technologies, expanding its reach, and strengthening service delivery across six states and two Union Territories. Aligned with Mission Karmayogi and Dak Karmayogi, the centre continues to build a future-ready workforce for a transforming postal ecosystem. 75 Years of Training Excellence.
