Eligibility for PS Group B Examination In respect of LSG officials

 

1. Draft copy of Revised Recruitment Rules 2025 was communicated in August 2025. Decision taken on the draft copy is not known.

 

2. As per Revised Recruitment Rules, 2025, HSG I officials having five years service can eligible for PS Group B examination.

 

3. Orders regarding Revised Recruitment Rules, 2025 will be issued in this year of 2026.

 

4. In my personal opinion, that there is the possibility of filling up the vacancies of 2024 and 2025 by the officials with old eligibility (Five years service in LSG cadre).

 

5. LSG officials having more than seven years in LSG cadre who are eligible for the vacancies of 2024 and 2025 may prepare for PS Group B Examination.

 

6. For clearing all our doubts, we have to wait for the Notification for PS Group B Examination or any other order to be issued in this regard.

 

7. Generally there will be no time for preparation for the examination after issue of Notification for the examination.

 

8. The candidates may analyse all possibilities.
