PROCESS TO BE ADOPTED FOR PERSONALIZED ATM CARDS

 

i. Personalized cards may be issued by the Post Offices against request received from customers for new or replacement of expired/expiring cards.   

 

ii. On receipt of request from customers, Post Offices may place the request in Finacle through CCMM menu.   

👉 POs should ensure that KYC is updated properly with current address before indenting for personalized or replacement cards, to avoid non-delivery of ATM cards to customer's address.  

 

iii. ATM PIN for personalized card  will be dispatched separately by  Registered Letter  to the ATM Card Holder’s address  within two days  of the dispatch of ATM card.  

 

iv. The concerned Delivery Post Office should ensure that  ATM Cards and PIN mailers  sent through registered letter are  delivered to the ATM Card holders only.   

 

v.  ATM cards will be activated after 24 hours  of delivery, and the  first transaction can be done in any ATM kiosk.
