Subject: Regarding training for female candidates who are in the family way or have small babies.

             In light of the reference received by the Training Division concerning training provisions for female candidates who are either expecting or have recently given birth, I am directed by the Competent Authority to reiterate the guidelines outlined in the Training Division's letter No. 4-3/2009-Trg dated November 11, 2013 (enclosed) as mentioned below:

"Lady candidates who are in the family way and at an advanced stage of pregnancy, as well as lady trainees having very young babies, may not be deputed for training until their situation improves."

2. This policy aims to ensure the well-being of the candidates and their children during this critical stage of their lives.
