Subject: Refresher training of PA (SBCO) officials upon their joining as PA (PO) on Counter/Treasury operations.

With reference to the subject matter, it is informed the officials, who were earlier recruited as PA (SBCO) and have now opted for PA (PO) cadre, does not have any detailed knowledge about Counter/Treasury operations of a PO, which necessitates imparting a refresher training to such officials for familiarising them with the domain areas handled at the Post Offices. This will enable such officials to work efficiently across all branches at a Post Office.

2. Accordingly, all PTCs/RTCs are requested to kindly arrange a refresher training programme for all such officials covering all aspect of Finacle, McCamish and other counter/Treasury operations being carried out at PO level. In this regard, training imparted to a PA (PO) may be referred to. Suitable notifications in this regard may kindly be issued in a phased manner while ensuring that all such officials are trained at respective PTC/RTC.

3.This has the approval of the Competent Authority.
